Walk a Mile: Help a Child
Hand In Hand USA Atlanta Chapter encourages everyone to participate in the annual Walkathon event: “Walk A Mile – Help A Child”.
This is the time to give back to the community. We want your support in making the annual Atlanta walkathon a success. The funds raised will help to change the lives of needy people. We are conducting this fun-filled walkathon on the beautiful trails of Chattahoochee Pointe Park. Request all of you and your family & friends to come for this event and support the great cause.
To donate towards this cause, you can either donate online, using the donation link provided below, or text ONE DROP to 44321 to donate using a credit card.
Schedule

Get to Know Us and Balashram
1. Hand in Hand USA video: This video begins with the formation of Hand in Hand USA and covers all three of its missions, with a detailed focus on the objectives and daily life of students at Balashram. It also highlights the Chrysalis Project, a support system for graduating students. Additionally, it features brief clips of two former students, Om Prakash and Sasmita, sharing their experiences.
2. Balashram Video: After introducing the challenges faced by rural Odisha, this video focuses exclusively on Balashram. It covers all aspects of the school, including the Chrysalis Project.
3. Swarna Video: A narrative-driven video featuring Swarna, a 10th-grade student at Balashram. Through her story, viewers gain insight into student life at the school.
4. 20 Years of Balashram: Narrated by a student at Balashram, this video provides an in-depth look at student life and an update on Balashram’s progress.
5. Balashram glimpses: A brief, narration-free montage showcasing student activities at Balashram.
